OH THE HORROR!!!!!	[Aug. 10th, 2005\|11:36 pm]
I have to say first that Im a true fan of horror and disturbing movies. And not to long ago I was introduced to a very disturbing director by the name of Takahish Miike with his most famous film Ichi the Killer. I was amazed that with all of the aweful things I have seen in movies through out the years, I was not desencitized enough to watch this without averting my eyes on occasion. I loved it! Enough that I forced it upon many of my friends, (Washington friends if you havent seen it yet, wait until I ger back, I own it Ill force it upon you!) And then I rented Audition, but while extremely slow moving still had some pretty freaky shit in it. SO after Ichi and Audition, I was pretty sure I was used to Miike's work and could handle anything he could throw my way. I WAS WRONG! Never have I seen anything as disturbed and twisted as Visitor Q! Where the other films were agonizing to watch in a torture film kind of way this is Miike, going to the same extreme he did in the horror genre but making it sexual! It was an amazing film, but I dont think I know if I can subject this movie to any of my friends since I know alot of you arent into this sort of thing as much as I am. and my not be prepared for it. Sorry Eileen! I didnt know what I was getting you into! (She watched it with me, when I saw it for the first time) Thats all I have to say for now, Im still recovering from this movie. (Its a great feeling! This feeling is why i love these movies so much, and Im glad that theres a director out there that can give me this much of a shock to my system.)
